Bikes: Cervelo R3, Specialized Transition, Kona Paddy Wagon, Giant TCX. Lots of bikes in the Garage.

If you want to be sure that you have bought the right bike. Borrow an aluminum bike and ride 60Km to 80Km as fast as you can go.
Make the ride on Asphalt.
Next day ride the same distance on your RS on a chip seal road.
The vibration difference is huge.
Now go climb a nice steep hill. You know? The one that you need low gear to finish.
Watch the crank area on both.

My Aluminum Specialized can't touch my RS for comfort or strength.
The specialized spends most of its life hanging in the rafters.
The RS spends its time on the road.
I may have my RS buried with me.....
