Nice bike and a great price with all the extras (specially the new shoes). The big question is...does it fit you? Since he is your co-worker I would ask to demo the bike first, maybe a weekend ride. Ride it to your LBS for their opinion on the fit, form your own opinion. Are you both at the very least the same height? Which does not necessarily mean the bike is the best fit for you. People's torso and leg lengths vary even if they are the same overall height.
