generally the bike will be built with Centaur 10-sp, but cranksets are one of the biggest $$$ areas of a bike build, so i'm looking for the best bang/$ ratio. i see the rival crank is fairly inexpensive.
what are the BF thoughts on this crank.
and the question : what bottom bracket technology do i need - ie - what else do i need to buy to make this work.
i only really have experience with square taper bb's and campy's UT outboard bearing system, help!
If you buy the Rival crank in a retail box it should come with a GXP bottom bracket, (at least mine did)if not you need to get one. It's quite similiar to the Campy out board bearing set up.
