Long time lurker, first time poster. I acquired a Fuji Series IV and it appears to be showroom quality. I understand pics are best (from the "Show-Me" state) and are forthcoming. That said:
(1). What would a 1983 Fuji Series IV with no miles be worth (not planning on selling, but curious)?
(2). Would I lessen the value by replacing the original un-sat-upon seat with a Brooks B17 Special with the plan to add the same color leather toeclips and barwrap?
(3). What does the serial number "PD305344" indicate (and I've already been to Classic Fuji's serial number page but am still unsure...I hope "PD" stands for "product development" or "police dept.")?
***I've lurked enough to appreciate the "that bike is worth $5 and I'll pay for shipping" responses. I plan on making this my touring bike but am genuinely interested in the possible value (understanding that it is worth whatever someone will pay for it...in my case, $125.00).
