At 235, I put over 20,000 miles on a Deep V/Ultegra hub 32 spoke wheel that I built myself!

But if they are 1996 and abused, who knows how long they will last. If anything, have them relaced with new spokes if some reason they should fail.

I am confused though, how can CAMPY be Deep V with Shimano hubs? Deep Vis Velocity so can' be Campy either. I'm lost, enlighten me!
