Perhaps what you feel is real.
I have other steel bikes in my stable, but I just pulled out my oldest friend and am reminded what a difference classic geometry and tubing can make.
This bike still rides like a dream after more than thirty years. With modern drivetrain components and brakes it would be amazing.
