Trek Madones are VERY backed up. I went into my shop to look at ordering one today, and it was over 60 days out. If you were thinking about project one, it could take an extremely long time, well into the latter part of the road season. This is all assuming you would order it, and don't already have it sitting at a shop ready to buy. Make sure you check with your shop before you order any of these bikes, just to make sure they will be here before you need to change to the next age category.
Actually, the estimated build times are being very pessimistic right now, as Trek got burned a little last year when they had problems getting frames painted quickly enough.
From what I've heard, the 'stock' paint schemes are generally shipping in 2 or 3 weeks. The store I work at got a couple in a week and a half from ordering them a month ago. Not sure how long the Signature Series ones are taking though.
