In particular the position of President will be decided, which is a pivotal role in guiding the future of cycling in our State and therefore directly affects us all. There are three candidates for the position: Bruce Mills, Phil Bates and a relative newcomer to NSW, Kerry Ruffles (we believe that's how he spells his name), perhaps better known as Sean Eadie's manager. These three will present their case for the top job and then there will be a vote by a show of hands. There is no proxy voting allowed so that to register a vote you will have to appear in person and produce your licence--and we urge you all to do just that as it's essential that we elect the right man for the job. The president elect could have a significant effect on whether Friday nite track, run by Paul Craft continues this winter.
See you all on Tuesday night?
I would love to go but just started a new job and can't make it (of course I used to work in Sydney and could have gone up to last week but them's the breaks). Plenty of CC riders are going to go I hope, there are quite a few who said they would. Hopefully Paul get's Fridays back this year.
