Convinced myself to start looking for a tension meter after building my wheelset this winter...just to make sure everything is OK.
Went to a few LBSs, and was always refered to their mechanics......who 99% of then said with a smirk on their faces........."tension guage???....uhmmmm....we just pluck the spokes and get them all on the same tune........and thus ended my search for my tension meter.
Also did the flip the wheel method on the truing stand to do my dishing on my wheels. I don't think a wheel dishing tool is really neccessary if you are only doing one or two wheelsets a season.
