Let me chime in, too, with advice to find a good bike shop. If I remember correctly, PWRDbyTRD rides a Kona Hoss Deluxe, which ought to be a great bike for a large rider. In a bike you will need strong wheels and gearing low enough that you can spin up hill (gravity loves us large riders).
