Raised my FTP by 15 watts on the computrainer program. It made 2 sets of 3 5' intervals @ FTP (2 min rest between, then 5 min between sets) less boring and very slightly uncomfortable. However, I still wasn't breathing that hard (my Garmin is all screwed up indoors these days from a malfunctioning sensor so I didn't have HR data to use, just RPE). Am I doing it right? Or do I need to raise it some more? The other people doing the workout at the same time as me looked like they were working a lot harder. With these erg file workouts, I tend to spin faster than if it was doing a hill simulation (the resistance adjusts to keep your power output consistent), which might make a difference in my comfort level.
