I rode the felt f70(lbs didnt have the 65 in a 63cm) and the r700 also those were my top 2 as well. I think that we came to the same end, The felt rode nice, and seemed like a great bike, I liked the way it fit and the carbon stays were nice. I think the c'dale rode a bit stiffer, not really much more harsh but over all it was more "tight" in handleing and climbing. I ended up with the c'dale as I felt like the frame was a bit better the bike seemed a bit "lighter" under me as well(not sure though I didnt have them weighed) I didnt notice any real difference between the ult. and 105 they both shifted smooth and I wasnt as concerned with the components as much as the frame. The only real "issue" I had with the c'dale is the saddle and its coming around but will probably be changed to something with a bit more comfort, but thats a differing thing for every rider.
