0C/32F and a tiny bit of rain/sleet/snow falling. It's snowing a bit harder now that I'm inside and dry. Heard a squirrel chattering in the trees; I guess they were duped into thinking it was spring too.
On Tuesday, I had a kilometer of ice/hard-packed snow to ride through. Today, it was mud, and a thick sticky slushy type substance that was really difficult to ride through. Stopped me cold once because I didn't gear down quick enough.
Lots of other cyclists out this morning. There was one guy whose path converged with mine; he was way ahead when I got to the merge point, but I'm always up for a challenge so I gave chase. Alas, he was faster than me, and the gap widened instead of getting shorter.
