I spent over thirty years in the Army / National Guard / Full-time Guard. I was required to take a PT test every six months. Two mile run, sit-ups, and push-ups. My goal was to to do one more than the minimum. Which I did every six months. My goal now is to ride the bike at least seventy or eighty miles a week. Which I do, plus a bit more some weeks.
I'm in better shape now than I ever was in the Army.
