I've only built one and trued a couple of wheels. The point where the rim was joined (weld?) always messes up the truing process in that at that point I can't get it true. It also seems that if I try to correct any lateral or radial untrue at that point, some untrueness (is that a word?) appears elsewhere on the rim. Is this normal?
How much time do i spend on the joint, because i'm getting pretty frustrated here.
