Chilly but nice this morning. I started off a little sore and slow after a late start. Some roadie picked my pocket for a while before deciding to pass. I dropped in behind him for a little pull. I passed him on the 14th Street Bridge and accelerated. He fell in right behind me so, I went up a couple of gears. I inadvertantly shifted up into too high a gear and it took me a little longer to really get on top of it. He stayed right on my wheel for a while but then dropped back a ways and turned off to, presumably, do laps at Hain's Point. I'm glad he did since I was a little gassed at that point. Took it easy and spun the rest of the way in, had a nice conversation w/ another rider and am looking forward to the 70 + deg ride home.
