The explanation given to you relates to the fact that amino acids bound in a protein (like whey) are less bioavailable than free-form amino acids.
However, free form amino acids aren’t exactly new or unavailable to other companies / scientists. It’s pretty easy to hydrolyze a protein and isolate the amino acids or even just make the amino acid synthetically.
I’m not trying to disparage your product, but as a chemist I won’t accept that your amino acids are somehow special when compared to other commercially available amino acid isolates.
I don’t doubt your amino acids are of good quality, I just wanted to know how much good stuff was in each gel. If it really does have 8g of BCAA per gel as indicated above I will certainly try them as that is a lot of BCAA. However, I would use them in addition to a carbohydrate gels as they are very low in kcals and carbs.
