Most of the people I know have the same reaction to bicycle touring. It's just not considered a rational thing to do, so clearly there must be something off with you.
All true. Nonetheless, this guy was carrying guns and crossing the border illegally... to my way of thinking, that too is a little off.

I know, we on this forum don't all agree on guns, or even what constitutes a bicycle tour, or a bicycle tourist... but was this guy a bicycle tourist? Carrying his stuff in a backpack?
