I'm considering ordering a pair of Look Keo Carbon 2 Max pedals for my main bike and two pairs of lesser Keo Classics for my secondary bikes. The former pedal is the newer design with a larger surface area but the classics are still based on the older narrower design.

I've never used Looks before and its not clear to me if the cleats that come with these different pedals are interchangeable. Can someone who uses these pedals shed some light on this? I want to be able to ride all these pedals with the same pair of shoes/cleats.
