Well cyclezealot: You dont hunt moose with a 22 cal,doubt that would even slow a moose down, from trampling you to death. He will be charged with smuggling fire arms into Canada. Not allowed to carry a hand gun of any sort except with a "permit" to a gun range only and must have it in a locked carry case and must not stop along the way. Must have fire arm aquisition certificate and must be registered including rifles which also have to be in a locked case but dont need a permit to transport. So there will be many charges i suspect. They are trying to get the long gun registery shut down,its a recent thing brought in by left wing govt. Now we have a right wing govt.trying to remove that law. Its one of those burocratic night mare things that cost the tax payers many millions of dollars.
