As an aside, this question comes up every couple of weeks, and I always wonder why. It's paint on metal; you can polish it with anything. Car wax is good. Paste wax meant for furniture is OK, though it doesn't last long outdoors. Pledge is quick and easy, just spray and wipe. A bike shop here used to spray the whole bike with WD-40 and wipe it down with an old towel. Every bike that went out the door gleamed. It's just paint on metal.
