Friendly ain't greeting everyone you see, don't be silly, I'm a busy man and I'd rather waste my time online. If there's eye contact for anything beyond navigating around each other a smile or nod can't hurt.
Yes, the fact that you're both riding a human powered 2 wheeled vehicle. you're both part of the solution at that point regardless of the infinite differences between you.
