- Put in lots of miles, put in decent mileage, then the long rides aren't really that long (does that make sense?)
- Lots of hydration. Do it in your normal everyday life then do it more on the bike (especially if you are a beer drinker like me)
- Recovery drink: I use Endurox on long rides.
- Eat before you are hungry
- Fixed gear bikes are pretty much self-pacing, so make sure you are geared for the long haul.
