Canti Brake Adjuster Conundrum

I'm looking to install cantilever brakes on a touring bike that will use road levers (105 brifters or Dura-ace bar ends).

Being cantilever brakes, they do not have cable slack adjusters built in like caliper brakes.

Being road brake levers, they do not have cable slack adjusters built in like mtb levers.

For the rear brake, I'm going to use the Surly hanger that has a built-in adjuster:

My question concerns an adjuster for the front canti brake. I would prefer to use a steertube-mounted hanger with a noodle to ease the torturous bend in the cable housing, like this:

I'm assuming that the noodle does not have a threaded receiver for an adjuster.

What kind of cable adjuster would work here? The inline adjusters all seem to be for shift cables only. I'm stumped. Thanks.
