I'm curious how it will compare to the previous modes in terms of durability, as that's of primary concern in utility applications.
But lighter and with a higher gear range sounds fantastic. But what really makes me want to get one is the fact that the shifting has moved inside the dropouts. Hopefully that means no big, plastic bubble on the axle that interferes with the chain tensioner and rack and fender hookups.
I doubt I'll be able to run out and pick one up right away, but I'm sure going to start saving my pennies. Although I've yet to see pricing. Hopefully close to pricing of the original.
