Hello everybody. My commute today was "brisk". About 30F with a 20 mph headwind. I found that headwind a real downer (see my post about training mantras if you are interested) and had troble keeping my heartrate up. Tomorrow, hammer Bob will be riding so I will have no choice but to blast the last 8 miles. The forecast is strong headwinds again in the morning and chilly temps. Whatever...I'm riding harder tomorrow.

Christie, a FOOT of snow!?!?!?! Sheesh. I hear things like it's "good for the garden" or "good for the farmers" and I just want to KILL the person who said that. I far as I'm concerned, I don't care who it's good for, I don't want any snow in the frickin springtime.
