Had an eye appt. this AM literally right next door to my apartment building, so the commute in was delayed until now (i.e., lunchtime). Nice ride in. Temps around 50, cool breezes. Stuck with shorts and a couple tee-shirts and was quite comfortable. The flow of tourists in town for cherry blossoms seems to be ebbing as it invariably does this time of year... don't mind tourists too much, but I do dislike, as a cyclist and when I'm on foot, the big groups or families that manage to take up the entire width of a 15 ft wide path, walk real slow, and pay no attention to their surroundings. Argh...

I managed to get my front derailleur readjusted Sunday night and have enjoyed having my big chainring back the last couple of days. Still use the middle chainring most of the time, but it's nice to have the bigger chainring, too, especially coming down the back sides of the overpasses.
