I agree that the naming is confusing. They must have at least 20 tires in the Marathon line. Anything that has the "Plus" designation has their thick puncture protection layer. I've literally pulled embedded staples out of the Marathon Plus after a ride. And I've never flatted on one. They bill them as "flat-proof" but like someone else said, there's no such thing as truly flat-proof. Unless you go to an airless tire. Then you're talking about a REALLY rough ride (at least from what I've heard).
