Yeah, I got that from Stedalus's post and some checking out of the bike!
I can't tell if you're being serious or not.
It's definitely important to know the full specs of your fork if you are changing forks on a bike, as slight differences can change geometry/handling quite drastically. But I thought this was common knowledge?
