Hi JonnyHK, I know what you mean about walking in HK. I've been there several time and travel all around with friends who live out there. Yes walking does have it's disadvantage, the rush from people there are different out here. I still remember getting push to hop on a escalator to go down the subway. I don't recall do the MRT/MTR allow bikes. Sorry but I get the MRT/MTR train mess up with Signapore train system. Personally, I would rather bike than walk in HK. I cannot stand the humid and the drip of water from AC unit above my head. If your work is close by then I agree biking is better than walking or driving. As I recall, you do have to pay parking fee even in your own apartment rental, is it not? The only downside I see of biking in HK is losing that traditional "Face Value" from driving a Mercedes, if ya know what I mean
