JR does make some nice decals. However, they are adhesive vinyl, and considerably thicker than what Pinarello used back in the day.
This isn't a bad thing, however, since Pinarello's decals usually had very little or no clear coat over them, and they peeled/wore off very easily. JR does have the ability to do waterslide, though.
The one thing about JR's vinyl, is that there will be a very small clear edge where they are cut that sticks out from the colored part of the decal. On a set for a Pinarello, if you didn't like that, it would be a royal pain to trim that off.
