Funny, since this thread was resurrected, I've started back with contacts again (daily disposables for me). I wear glasses when I'm not riding, but I'm liking contacts when I'm the bike again. It's pretty nice having a wider selection of sunglasses available. I've been wearing Jawbones lately, fantastic for cycling - very comfortable, don't slip or fog and the size of the lenses means you have great protection fromt he sun and good vision even when deep in the drops.

The downside of the higher Rx (heavier) glasses is that I noticed they had a tendency to start slipping down my face when I would start to sweat on hot days/tough climbs, and lighter non-Rx glasses solved that. Of course after prescription Oakley's the non-prescription stuff seems much cheaper I still wear my Whisker's around, just not on the bike now.
