Thanks everyone. I will try to WD-40 and steel wool for sure. It is very little surface rust, so I'm sure it will work. It will be stored inside a garage for now and probably inside an apartment after I move. I oiled it once already and probably will again. I used degreaser before oiling it, as recommended by the guy at the LBS. It took all the gunk out between the cogs and in the rear derailer. It has been in the 30s here too the last couple days, but it's suppose to warm up, I'm sure I'll get a good ride in this weekend.
