I've been a long time lurker, first time poster on this thread. Very into BMX and know a lot about the 20 inch world but not a lot about road bikes. I have a vintage tamara fork/frame that is a fixie used to commute to college. A friend of mine gave me a nice carbon fiber fork, what all needs to be in order to run the new fork on the old frame, if its at all possible.

I do know the steerer tube on the fork has to be long enough, which it is, what about head tube size. guuuuhhhh I don't want to have to learn bike mechanics for a third type of bike.
