So, if I want to find out, I will need to buy another crankset first to keep from being off the bike for an extended period. The price of the additional crankset doesn't take the Quarq ALL the way to SRM pricing, but it's getting closer!
If you want to minimize your time off the bike, you could overnight your rings to us when we have a CinQo ready for you. We'd assemble and ship it out the same day we receive your rings. We could overnight it back - total time away from your bike would be 3 days.
You could even ride the morning you mailed the rings to us, we'd get them the next day and overnight everything back to you. You could ride in the evening when you received the CinQo. Then you'd only have one day off of the bike. Just a thought. :-)
All the Shimano rings we've received thus far have calibrated just fine, so Jim and Kevin are highly confident that your 6700 rings would be fine as well.
