You can also use spacers in between the chain ring bolts to adjust chainline.
I've got the ZAC1800 and they're pretty solid, no troubles with them. The DP18's however, have a deeper v section making it more aero but a bit heavier. Both of which make solid wheelsets.
As far as being machined goes, it varies from whoever you buy them from. Even if they're not machined, you can still use your brakes but it'll make a loud sound.
