Bring your road bike. Depending on where you stay, there are lots of departure points. There are trails around Lake Overholser on the W side of OKC on Lake Hefner on the N side of OKC and around Draper on the S side of OKC. Additionally, there are many groups that meet informally on the E side of I35 on Hefner Rd on weekends. They may or may not be cool to accept you initially, it depends on your riding skills and fitness. Trying to commute in OKC can be a real bear as there are few bike lanes and the streets don't offer more than two lanes. Where you stay dictates whether you can begin a ride from your temporary residence or have to drive to a departure. PM me for more details and advice.
