I'm using Schwalbe Marathon Pluses 32mm on most of my bikes. I would probably switch to 28s when these wear out... just that it takes a while.
I also have an older bike with 27 inches tires. I'm using Nashbar Prima tires, which have a kevlar belt and are much lighter than the Schwalbes.
