Trust me and go for the expensive one, it is 100% worth it. First, I do not go to any of those shops that you listed but once you start working with the fitter, he will usually break you off with deals/discounts. Then the little adjustment which actually makes a big difference in a race usually don't coast a thing, well my fitter helps me out on it. This is usually how it goes..
