If you're slamming on your brakes a few times a day, you're doing something wrong.
What? I slam on my brakes all the time. It's fun. I have excellent brakes. I keep them tuned. I know they work. I frequently brake at close to the last second just for the sheer joy of it.
My bottom-line still remains: I believe there is a market for hydraulic road levers. I can't make them myself. All I can do is wish for someone else to make them.
