I also live in Cedar Park, I'm always up for a ride but I'm assuming you are faster than me :-)
suggestions:
1) go to a few ACA rides,
www.austincycling.org they have a lot of them and the turn out is pretty good
2) If you are into racing, you may want to hook up with the Violet Crown group
3) I'm partial to bicycle sport shop on 183, there are a fair number of other shops around though so it depends on what you are looking for.
