Rim sizing: are ETRTO and Effective Diameter/ERD the same?
The Mavic website gives rim specs as ETRTO compatible size, for example:

ETRTO compatible size: 559 x 21
Recommended nipple length: 12 mm
Recommended rim tape: 559 x 23 x 0.6
Recommended tire widths: 2.30 to 3.00

Is that the same as the Effective Diameter/ERD for spoke calculation purposes? 559mm in the above example? What's 21 in the above example? The rim width?
