At least it looks better than one guy's clip-on aerobars I saw one day. I wish I had a pic; their tips were chest-level, and the guy was sitting almost straight upright, holding the bar ends like they were an airplane yoke. I have no idea what he was thinking or who told him that it was okay.
I saw something similar yesterday. A guy with clip-on aero bars and a nearly vertical stem. He was riding the hoods and almost fully upright, I don't know what he expects to get out of the aero bars. He didn't look like a commuter, just some chubby dude on a solo ride.
I lawled, but I felt kind of bad afterward
