The part of LA you are thinking of is like another world to me, everyone I know goes to the west side only when absolutely neccessary. I moved from NY to Boston to SF (lasted 3 months before I almost went insane there) to LA and this place rules. 6 years of riding bikes here and I must say since last summer the amount of cyclists has grown by 10,000%. Not sure what happened.

oh yeah, 50-17. I live in hilly Silver Lake, but can avoid the hills pretty easily.
