It would bother me that she thinks it's funny. That might be a deal breaker. Maybe ask her if it'd be funny if the dad trapped her against the garage with the car. Maybe she doesn't recognize how scary it is, or maybe she just doesn't see cars are potentially dangerous? You can fix the former, you can't fix the latter.
