I used to wear knee socks when hiking. they stopped just under the knees. I loved those socks. do people hike in knee socks anymore? I also used to wear hiking knickers, which were cool cuz they end just under the knee and it was a cool Swiss look. also very comfortable over mixed terrain.
FWIW, I hate the look of those funky black socks Lance has been wearing lately. They look like knee-highs to me but I'm pretty sure he'd hand my arse to me on a silver knee-high, so I'm sure he doesn't care what I think!
