Here are accurate speeds of recumbents that were timed by officials in a sanctioned HPV event. These are REAL data speeds not the false claim speeds like "I can go 41 mph with my lowracer while I smoke roadies". So far no one in the USA has been able to go faster than than 28.36 mph on a Stock recumbent in a 50 lap race.

The time for the 50 and 100 lap race in 2003 for Northbrook was the fastest ever.
