Bikes: (1)Raleigh Gran Prix, bought new 28 Dec '72 from Southeast Cycles on Pennsylvania Ave in Washington, DC; 2) '06 Specialized Rockhopper; 3) steel Raleigh SC30 of indeterminate age, drop bars, all-road tourer/commuter; 4) '78 Raleigh Competition GS

I'm 6'4 and a half, 34" inseam. It happens.
My road bike is my old 2030 Raleigh GP, 25" frame, 35" standover with 700C wheels (adapted). Long seat post, loong gooseneck.
Bought the GP new in '72, not givin' it up, but if I can come up with another 2030 frame in the 27" size (available in the Record model of that era), I may build another bike. Anymore, I'm of the opinion that standover is not as important as the safety experts seem to think.
