CC has a saddle demo program, if I'm not mistaken.

Edit: Grumpy, I have an SMP with a little padding if you want to try it. You break it you bought it, but you can ride it till you feel like you know if you like it or not. PM me and let me know. I also have a used SLR xp that you can try. That ones a little beat up and I don't care much for it.
