I have the Topeak Super Tourist DX rack on my Swobo Dixon and had to do some horizontal adjustment of my REI shopping panniers to eliminate heel strike. The REI shopping panniers do have adjustment of the top clips which fit the rack rail so I was able to adjust them further back slightly to eliminate the heel strike. I normally use SPD clipless pedals and shoes/sandals and only have size 10 feet.
There is no adjustment on the pannier itself, as far as I can tell. I have them moved as far back as they will go on the rack itself, though.

That's a little disconcerting to hear, actually. I don't know how the panniers compare in size, but your bike lists a chainstay length of 430, while mine is 445, according to their respective websites. So I do have that in my favor. But if your 10's strike, I'm worried.

I would like to keep my pannier, but I'm not married to it, so to speak. However, I do want to use something of a similar size and shape, so I'd probably have the same problem with others, I guess. I really like using the big, open thing to throw stuff (esp. groceries) in.

Thanks for the input. BTW, is the adjustment you speak of a feature of the panniers themselves, or do you mean simply moving the clips as far back on the rack as they will go?
